Happy Birthday to me :)

I found these cute monogrammed bracelets and decided that I would buy this as a birthday gift to myself.  hehe.  I know it's just a way to justify spending, but I couldn't resist.  I got the  1 letter braclet ( a "B" for Burlew, or as a told my boyfriend a "B" for Brian).

I think they would be a cute option for bridesmaids gifts.

I wish that it was acceptable to still have invitations like this into your adult years...

Thought I'd share a fun invitation I just worked on.  This is being sent via email, which is becoming popular for those wanting to "go paperless".

Name Game

I like playing around with different fonts and seeing how they can compliment a name.  In particular the bold and script fonts, as seen below.

Old Man Bunky

Most old men flock to Florida once the temperature goes below 50 degrees.  Well, the old man in the photos below (my yellow Labrador, Bunky)  could not love the snow more.  If he could, he would spend all day just laying in it.

 

Warm sun, and a cold surface.  Life can't get better.

The Studio

I spent the weekend letterpressing in a local studio where I rent the machine.  Here are some photos of the process.  I really like mixing the paint.  The outcome always results in such a pretty palette.

The last photo is the final result of all this - the wedding invitation!

I'm not one of those anti-Valentines Day people.  I love this holiday, and I love sending cards to family and friends.  Here are the 2 cards I did this year.

After being snowed in all weekend here in DC, I created and addressed my valentines cards! Here is one of them addressed in a font of mine I have yet to name.  Suggestions welcome.
